Well, the first leg of the trip was very familiar, at least to me. First, we needed to get out of New Jersey. This was basically the Atlantic City Expressway to the Walt Whitman Bridge into Philadelphia. The two of us have made this drive many, many times sice we started dating over 3 years ago. This time, however, was a bit sad. The recognizable skyline of Philadelphia was showing itself off to us one final time. We took the PA Turnpike west out of Philadelphia through the northern most part of West Virginia...
... and almost immediately into Ohio.
I have been out to Cincinnati for quite a few Bengals games over the past 9 years. No game to go to this time; just some friends of Andrea's that had relocated from the Bay area many years ago. Here is our route for the day.
